This game is plain stupid.

Stupid as in a good way.
This came out monday night for a midnight release, and about 15 different ppl i know had it on their facebook status’ by 1 am, i was up working on some designs, and i just checked my facey and people would not shut up about it. Then last night, i came home from work, realised i have the next 2 days off and thought about COD. Next thing you know im at JB Hi-Fi with it in my hands.
The game is a joke, it has more hype than Jordan did when he won his first title coming and like Jordan goes well beyond the hype.
Any ps3 or xbox or whatever console u have, get it!

I think im one of the only people to have heard this full version..
im a big fan of it.. i think the full intros do work perfect for the whole concept of the mixtape.. but for an aspiring artist the point of a mixtape is for people to hear what you have to say.. so thats why Ryan decided to go with the shortened version instead of this..

Ok, so while we wait for the upcoming mixtape ‘The Intern’ to be finished (which is very soon), we thought it would be a good idea to put up for a free download the Unreleased Version of Risky Business that I had originally made.

This version is about 20 Mins Longer than the one you hear now, and includes one extra track + 2 remixes that were eventually cut from the mixtape, on top of that, the interludes between each track are completely cinematic and extended. I actually had 100 Copies of this pressed up, then decided to scrap the entire bunch and shorten the mix – the same bunch that sits in my house gathering dust. I eventually went overseas to South Africa, came back a completely different artist (as you’ve heard on the new track previews), edited down Risky Business and released it for free download. Don’t ask me why I did it, I guess it was in fear of being overlooked.

Back when I used to go under the name ‘Fly Rye‘, this was my attempt at trying to get recognised amongst an already congested scene. I guess some things are’nt always what you expect – Risky Business went fairly unnoticed and only now are people starting to get the entire concept of what I was about – a year ago.

Basically, I’ll be honest – I’m kind of over the whole Risky Business thing and my sound on The Intern is completely different, but, if people want to hear it them I’m happy to give it away as a free download w/ coverwork. So, instead of posting it and people having ZERO interest, I thought I’d give you the OPTION TO VOTE.

20+ Votes means it will be put up as a free download on CW. Otherwise, back to the vault….Forever.

Preview No.5 for my boy..

This is a little different from the rest of the previews, from australian “hip-hop” and is a little closer to the sound Ryan’s trying to get to..
We have spoken many times about just using simple beats if u call them beats at all just to really get across his point of view and simply because he wants to do it..

We had been trying to find an acoustic guitar player to work with Ryan on this one.. but he came up with the idea to use Coldplay’s Yellow for a few reasons..

1) it will make people listen.. I didn’t think it was possible for an emcee to use a Coldplay beat..

2) Fans or anyone at his shows will be able to relate to and sing along with him for the chorus..

3) Could be preformed live with a band, which we both really liked the idea of

Fans may recognise the vocals..

Completely Re-Recorded, including a new verse (which will be on the full version), and a popular Coldplay-remixed beat, I almost feel like this version does the track more justice than what the original did, which was originally on Risky Business.

Consider this track ‘Rye’s Galaxy Part II’ – with a different ending. (The new verse is the last one)
