AGAINST THE GRAIN

This rookie season is posing as my hardest challenge yet, it was always going to be the hardest but not from the point of just coming up with ideas and what not but finalising designs is currently me kryptonite.  Over thinking is my biggest enemy and having nothing out right now and knowing how the public are going to react to this brand is making me think am I doing this all for nothing? Well I hope not. After this rookie season, (mind you I might change the name of this company to Greg Oden) i think ill roll out designs like Hank Moody rolls over girls. Its quite a joke, I’ve already come up with concepts for Denim, Matching tracksuits(yes we are going to try make wearing matching tracksuits do-able), puffy vests the lot.

anywhoo…
i was at my mates yesterday.. the dudes got a pretty crazy shoe collection to begin with..
J – 3′s,5′s,6′s,11′s,12′s,13′s x 2.. just to name a few..
but he showed me some of his magazines..



and to top it off..

“You can have Michael Jordan rotating on your coffee table”

And there just the ones with Jordan on the cover..
The best thing about the magazines is the advertising in them.. 90s advertising was at its peak. Sure technology now is much better but i still think the adverts from the 90s kills todays..
